About Us

Our hope at Lubbock Light Park is for you and your family to create unforgettable memories during the Christmas season. Lubbock Light Park started in 2024 by Jon Richardson and Zach Maldonado and their families, both local business owners, and our hope is for this to become a staple holiday event in the Lubbock community for years to come as we seek to bring the most exciting and enjoyable light show in the nation! Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I arrive?

Your ticket is valid for 1 entry on the day you choose and you can come anytime from 6:30pm to closing.

Do I have to purchase online?

We encourage purchasing online to keep wait times down but you can pay with cash or card at the gate.

Will my vehicle fit?

All vehicles that are under 9 feet in height and shorter than 26 feet in length will make our drive just fine! This means SUVs, Double Cab F-250 (or equivalent) will be fine.

Busses (of any length), Limousines, Trailers, Semi-Trucks, sprinter van's, 15 passenger vans, and Santa's Sleigh are all either too tall or have too wide of a turning radius to fit through the drive through show.

Can I get out of my vehicle?

No! For safety purposes, you MUST remain in your vehicle at all times and through the duration of the drive through.

Should I turn off my headlights?

Yes, please turn off your headlights when you drive through the light park. If you cannot turn your lights off, please turn your lights on dim. Please remember to turn your headlights back on when exiting the show.

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes! We would love to see the show through your eyes! Make sure to tag us @lubbocklightpark or #LubbockLightPark

Are dogs allowed?

Absolutely! Please keep all dogs inside the vehicle at all times.

What if it is raining/snowing?

We’re open rain or shine! If you are lucky enough to see the show while it is raining, the water droplets on the lights actually give our displays an extra sparkle.

Are prices per vehicle?

Yes! Each price you see is per vehicle. Whether you have two people or 7 in a vehicle, the price is the same. You can use your ticket for any night you choose. One ticket is for one vehicle and one entry.

Can I purchase a ticket at the gate?

Yes, you can. But we encourage you to purchase online!
